SKYMASTER ZKP 4 LED

The classical Planetarium Projector for Small and Mid-size Domes

The ZEISS SKYMASTER ZKP 4 LED planetarium combines the most advanced technologies for brilliant projections with the latest digital solutions for easy operation. The image of the night sky is extremely natural, the stars are very bright and brilliant. LEDs as light sources not only ensure high light output, but also low consumption costs.

Brilliant Night Sky

Numerous Equipment Options

Comfortable Operation

Brilliant, White and Bright Stars Thanks to Fiber Optics and LED Illumination

SKYMASTER ZKP 4 projects around 7000 tiny stars - the number of stars that the human eye can detect under good visibility conditions and which a smaller planetarium dome does not overload. Each individual star is illuminated directly and with pure white light by an optical fiber. With LEDs, the starry sky is about three times brighter than with halogen lamps. Milky Way, star clusters, nebulae and galaxies appear on the planetarium dome with a high level of detail.

Expanded Range of Functions

The fourth generation of the ZEISS small-size planetarium offers a wide range of functions. Its capabilities are completely similar to those of a large planetarium. Sun, Moon and all planets are positioned with topocentric accuracy. The relationships between the movements and visibility of the celestial bodies are also made easy to understand thanks to numerous didactic projections. SKYMASTER ZKP 4 has a modular design. The degree of equipment can be individually selected by the customer.

Live and Automatic Operation Included

The control system meets the most modern requirements, the hardware ensures very high reliability, the software allows extremely convenient operation, whether live or automatic.
SKYMASTER ZKP 4 can be directly combined with the fulldome systems from ZEISS. This connection enables the synchronous coupling of optical-mechanical and digital projection.
