In this session, Dale Swarts, 3D printing orthopedics expert, discusses using advanced materials and the importance of in-process inspection to meet medical industry demands.
You’ll also see demonstrations using ZEISS technologies to inspect these diverse materials having tighter and more complex tolerances!

About the presenter
Dale Swarts, former Chief Engineer of the Stryker Additive Manufacturing team, helped commercialize multiple medical devices and expand the use of AM technologies across the corporation. Education and mentoring on these topics was a key role for him. Dale retired in 2020 and continues to offer consulting expertise in medical device development and testing, new materials and process creation, program management and a wide variety of additive manufacturing technologies.
