ZEISS Microscopy Solutions Center (ZMSC) at the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) Philadelphia is a microscopy facility offering monthly subscription access to both CIC residents and external customers. Supported end to end by dedicated onsite staff who provide expertise in experimental development, instrument training, imaging workflows, and data analysis, ZMSC CIC lowers the barrier to entry to advanced microscopy to support the Philadelphia Life Science community.

ZEISS Microscopy Subscription Services @ CIC Philadelphia

The ZEISS Microscopy Subscription Services at CIC Philadelphia are part of a ZEISS Solutions Center designed to expand access to high end microscopy systems for life science teams across the region. Through flexible subscription based access, the program lowers barriers to using advanced imaging technologies and enables researchers to integrate microscopy into their workflows without the need for upfront capital investment. The service is available to both CIC residents and external companies, supporting a broad range of life science research and strengthening the innovation ecosystem within the Philadelphia community.

  • How do I request subscription services at CIC?

    To request subscription services, simply fill out the form below, and a member of our team will follow up with you to review your requirements, and initiate next steps.

  • Does ZEISS provide training to new users?

    Yes, ZEISS has on-site support at the CIC that offers standard training for approved users.

  • How am I billed for my subscription?

    Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance at the agreed rate. Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date.

    Accepted payment forms include:

    • Credit card
    • ACH direct deposit
    • Purchase order

  • Can I change my subscription tier or cancel?

    Members are free to change or cancel their subscription upon providing ZEISS 30 days notice of contract termination.

  • What kind of samples is the facility approved to handle?

    The ZEISS CIC Subscription Services facility is approved to handle both live and fixed samples up to Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2).

  • Does ZEISS offer full-service contract research?

    Yes. In addition to ZEISS Subscription-based access Program at CIC Philadelphia, we also offer Microsocopy as a Service, providing imaging and analysis-based research support across biopharma, life science and materials research sectors.
