ZEISS planetarium systems are developed, manufactured, configured and tested in house, before they are installed and started up at your end by our specialists. In this way we make sure that all components are properly installed and operate in perfect synchronism.

After start-up, too, you can count on ZEISS as a dependable partner.

To keep your projection system up to date and on a high quality level, we offer various services and hard- and software upgrades.


Maintenance at regular intervals ensures reliable operation and prolongs working life. We offer our users several options for maintenance and repair services which back your planning.

  • Maintenance contract for regular servicing and updates (remote maintenance and service on site)
  • Maintenance on site as required (on request)
  • Supply of spare parts and consumable materials


Of course we will also attend to repairs.Even many ZEISS projectors installed long ago can still be maintained and repaired. We keep a broad scope of spares and consumables in stock, including earlier types.

Hardware Upgrades

ZEISS offers upgrade kits in line with the latest technical developments. LED upgrades for SKYMASTER ZKP 4, STARMASTER or UNIVERSARIUM projectors featuring halogen lamps will furnish these models with cutting-edge LED illuminants.

  • Control system upgrade (optical-mechanical and digital systems)

Software Upgrades

Software upgrades contain new versions of your installed control programs. As a rule, these can be uploaded to your system by remote maintenance.

Every installation includes instruction of your staff on the operation and maintenance of your new planetarium system. In addition, it is possible to enter a separate agreement for a one- or two-week comprehensive training course.

Our technical support staff is available to deal with your technical questions, problems and equipment malfunctions. Help regarding software problems will be provided online under a (remote) maintenance contract.
