Uniview is the visualization software for ZEISS planetariums aimed at presenting and teaching astronomy, astrophysics and other sciences in real time. It provides a seamless visualization of the entire known universe.
Uniview is the most efficient software for interactive live operations in planetariums. The scope of available data for visualization extends over 30 orders of magnitude, from e.g., surface details of planets to the large-scale structure of the observable universe. In addition to the many natural celestial bodies of the solar system, UNIVIEW also has models of man-made objects such as the International Space Station (ISS). With the software, it can be tracked on its actual orbit and viewed from all perspectives. This is how this screenshot was created with the sun setting behind the Earth's horizon.
