Kavli Fulldome Lecture Series – A Universe of Surprises

The Kavli Fulldome Lecture Series is a joint event of the Kavli Foundation and the Adler Planetarium in Chicago. The goal of the live lectures is to inspire exploration and understanding of the universe. The lectures are accessible in domecasting sessions all over the world by means of UNIVIEW. ZEISS cooperates with the Adler Planetarium to support the Kavli Lecture Series. If you have a dome or flat screen theatre running Uniview 2.0.27 or Uniview 3, you are invited to receive the Domecast feed and present the lectures live to your audience. You will receive an asset data package from the host for this purpose. The recording will also be available on YouTube for those who cannot attend the live stream.

The lectures use raw data – the stuff of spreadsheets – and turn it into a stunning visual journey to the very edge of human knowledge that is delivered live via domecast technology and YouTube 360 to individuals all around the world. Whether you’re an academic or a layperson who loves learning, the Kavli Lectures challenge you to see every unsolved cosmic mystery as a chance to discover something new.
