Microscopy & image analysis services

Microscopy services across your cell biology research journey.

For scientists and research teams who need access to advanced imaging but prefer not to invest in their own microscopy systems, ZEISS offers microscopy as a service. Whether you are investigating cellular architecture, tracking dynamic processes, or quantifying subcellular structures, we provide on-demand access to cutting-edge microscopy and AI-powered analysis without the cost of equipment ownership or the need for specialized in-house expertise.

With ZEISS Microscopy Services, you can accelerate discovery, simplify complex imaging workflows, and gain deeper insight into the mechanisms that drive cell function and behavior, all while focusing your time and resources on advancing your research.

ZEISS Lightfield 4D expands your confocal with the ability to capture complete volumes – instantly, with a single snap. Capture the fastest movements within whole organisms at up to 80 volumes per second. Start your experiments immediately – on your confocal and without the need to adjust sample preparation.

ZEISS LSM Lightfield 4D

Instant volumetric high-speed imaging of living organisms.

Lightfield 4D is instant volumetric imaging at high speed. Acquire comprehensive 3D information with a single snap and say goodbye to any time delay within an imaged volume. For the first time, capture the fastest movements within whole organisms at up to 80 volumes per second – with all spatiotemporal information intact. Crawling larvae, beating hearts, flowing blood, and firing neurons can be studied in 3D at unprecedented speed to unravel the secrets of life.

  • ZEISS Lunch and Learn: Advances in Microscopy for Cell Biology Research

Presented by:  Antonio Pedrosa, PhD, Product Application Sales Specialist Light Microscopy

Abstract: Recent advances in light microscopy are expanding the boundaries of quantitative cell biology and enabling deeper insight into complex biological systems. ZEISS provides microscopy solutions designed to capture cellular dynamics, structure, and spatial context across scales.

ZEISS recently launched Lightfield 4D which provides rapid volumetric imaging of live organisms, organoids and spheroids, while Airyscan 2, Lattice SIM, and Lattice Lightsheet 7 offer complementary approaches for high-resolution and low-phototoxicity imaging of cellular and subcellular processes. ZEISS Axioscan 7 enables efficient, high-throughput slide scanning to support spatial biology and multiplexed imaging studies. ZEISS arivis software integrates AI-powered image analysis including visualization, segmentation, and quantitative analysis of large multidimensional datasets, facilitating 3D and 4D data interpretation for cell biology applications.

Whether you’re new to ZEISS microscopy or already working with our systems, join us to gain practical tips, explore new capabilities, and connect with ZEISS specialists to discuss how these technologies are redefining what’s possible in cell imaging.
