  • Progressive lenses help you see clearly at three different distances: near, intermediate and far. While the bottom of the lens helps you focus on close-up objects, the upper part promotes clear sight at longer distances. The middle zone supports any distances in between. These zones blend effortlessly into each other, allowing you to switch smoothly between different distances. These all-day lenses are especially made for people with maturing eyes who have presbyopia.

  • No, progressive lenses aren’t bifocals, they’re varifocal lenses. Bifocal lenses provide support for seeing far away and have an extra section to assist with near vision, but these zones don’t blend into each other. Progressive lenses help you see clearly at three distances: up close, far away and in-between. The different powers blend smoothly into each other without any breaks.

  • Getting used to your ZEISS Progressive ClearMind lenses can be as fast as within an hour. This is what one in every two wearers reported. Others needed a few days.3

    Premium progressive lenses like ZEISS ClearMind are crafted to provide smooth transitions between the near, intermediate and distance zones, making it easy for your eyes to switch between them.
