ZEISS works constantly on the development of reticles, consistently sets new standards and impresses with incomparably high levels of precision.

Illuminated reticles

Depending on the brightness of the illuminated dot or cross, there are two fundamentally different types of illuminated reticle in the ZEISS riflescope range. In the case of versions with a very bright illuminated dot, these are illuminated reticles suitable for use in daylight and twilight. These are found, for instance, in the Victory HT models and in the Conquest V6 and V4, and are particularly effective for rapid target acquisition when hunting fast moving game. The second group of illuminated reticles from ZEISS is intended for use in the twilight hours. The Victory HT models and the V8 feature finely-dimmable illuminated dots. These enable ideal adjustment to the widely varying lighting conditions encountered in the early hours of twilight. If the illuminated dot or cross were too bright, flare would obscure the target in deep twilight. These illuminated reticles therefore provide an option for optimum adjustment of the brightness – either manually or automatically with the help of the riflescope.

Reticle 43 Illuminated

Our classic reticle for fast, long shots combined with the finest illuminated dot. At the respective riflescope’s reference magnification, the reticle’s characteristic dots are exactly 10 cm apart at a distance of 100 m, making it easy to accurately estimate distances. The angle between the dots at this magnification is exactly 1 millirad, allowing trained shooters to quickly determine the appropriate holdover point at long distances. The reticle is located in the riflescope’s second image plane. The ZEISS Hunting app can be used to quickly and precisely determine the change in subtension and the resulting bullet drop compensation and wind drift correction values for practically any ammunition.

Reticle 54 Illuminated

The driven hunt reticle 54 is another special reticle from ZEISS. This enhanced version of the reticle 0 is designed for fast and reliable shots with minimal target subtension. In addition to the fine horizontal bar, it features crosshairs containing the ultra-fine illuminated dot. The horizontal bar is used for height correction when following a target and protects against weapon tilting. The crosshairs allow you to quickly shoulder your rifle and aim at the target, even without an illuminated dot. One look at the subtension reveals just how fine the illuminated dot is – at 12x magnification, only 0.55 cm is covered at a distance of 100 m. This is the finest and brightest illuminated dot in the world, a real benchmark. The reticle is located in the riflescope’s second image plane.

Reticle 60 Illuminated

The reticle 60 is lighter and finer than the reticle 40, which was widely used only a few years ago. The bars have only half the subtension of the earlier model and there is twice the amount of free space between them. It is therefore ideally suited for precise shooting with the least possible coverage of the target game. With 12x magnification and a subtension of only 0.55 cm at a distance of 100 m, you always have an excellent overview – no fine details are hidden from view. The illuminated dot is extremely bright and can therefore also be used for daytime hunting. The brightness of the illuminated dot can be dimmed at extremely finely, making it ideal for night hunting as well. The reticle is located in the riflescope’s second image plane.

ZBi | Reticle 68 Illuminated

This reticle was primarily developed for hunting in open terrain and over long distances. The tree-shaped crosshairs are intuitively designed and offer an extremely precise aiming point. The tick marks and dots have a distance of one minute of angle (1 MOA) at the respective reference magnification and always provide a suitable holdover point, even in windy conditions. The ZEISS Hunting app can be used to quickly and precisely determine both bullet drop and wind drift for practically any ammunition, and also displays the distance values in a visual depiction of the reticle. Only the center area of the reticle is illuminated, for precise aiming even in poor lighting conditions. ZMOAi-T30 | Reticle 64 Illuminated

The ZMOAi-T30 reticle is the illuminated version of the ZMOA-T30. It offers the perfect balance between sport and hunting shooting. Hunters and target shooters prefer this option for their all-around riflescope. The MOA (minute of angle) crosshairs contain MOA tick marks and dots that provide a distance of 1 MOA at reference magnification and cover a bullet drop of 30 MOA. The lateral lines and holdover points are extremely useful for wind correction and are positioned in the field of view for maximum effectiveness and minimum distraction. The reticle illumination is limited to the central fine crosshairs, preventing the shooter from being affected by glare and providing an extremely effective and precise aiming point in adverse lighting conditions. This reticle is based on the ZMOAi-T20. However, it offers a thicker reticle line of 0.12 MOA at 24x. This makes it easier to see the crosshairs against a dark background, which is especially helpful when you are hunting against a tree line or aiming at dark game in the undergrowth. Only the center area of the reticle is illuminated – an extremely effective and precise aiming point in adverse lighting conditions. Reticle ZF-MOAi | Reticle 17 Illuminated

The ZF-MOAi smart reticle was designed with precision shooting and long-range hunting in mind. This is a great reticle for the most challenging shots in the field and on the range. The clean and clutter-free reticle utilizes hash marks that represent 1 MOA (minute of angle), and even numbers are displayed for fast visual reference. The windage dots below centerline are placed at 2 MOA increments, so that you can easily confirm the wind’s influence on the bullet’s impact down-range. The floating center point of aim provides a precise hold on the most difficult targets.

Reticle ZF-MRi | Reticle 16 Illuminated

The ZF-MRi smart reticle was designed with professional input from active competitors and instructors. Its purpose is to dominate at PRS and NRL matches. The milliradian (MRAD) reticle incorporates a "tree-style" primary structure with useful hash marks, dots, and reference numbers –without the clutter. The points-of-aim and holds are represented in 0.2, 0.5, and 1.0 MRAD increments; and even numbers are displayed for fast and intuitive visual reference. If winning is your goal, then the ZF-MRi reticle was made for you.

Non-illuminated reticles

Non-illuminated reticles are versatile and precise. They are ideal for use when hunting in very good light, in the early hours of dusk and the later hours of dawn. A further advantage is that non-illuminated reticles can be used for measuring distances: the fine scales on the horizontal and vertical crosshairs between the reticle posts enable the determination of useful information about the distance to the game. Non-illuminated reticles also bring distinct advantages for competitive marksmen, This is because certain reticles have extremely fine crosshairs that obscure very little of the target or game at long ranges.

Reticle 6 Non-illuminated

The non-illuminated reticle 6 is located in the second image plane and is extremely versatile – when shooting at shorter distances with low magnification, the reticle is always clearly visible, but remains just as fine at high magnification and only minimally covers the target. In combination with bullet drop compensation, this reticle is ideal for all those who want to have a perfectly clear view of the target when hunting over long distances.

Reticle 20 (Z-Plex) Non-illuminated

The very fine reticle 20 is located in the second image plane. During daytime hunting, it enables you to shoulder your rifle and aim extremely precisely, even at long distances. The transition from the bars to the fine lines in the center is arrow-shaped in the reticle 20. This gives you the ability to aim especially precisely at small targets.
