ZEISS TORUS
Ultrasonic Aspirator
Built for tissue. Built for bone. Built for surgery.

The all-new ZEISS TORUS® Ultrasonic Aspirator combines soft and fibrous tissue removal, bone cutting and bone rasping in one integrated system, supporting a broad range of applications throughout cranial and spinal procedures.

Designed with connectivity in mind, TORUS extends beyond the standalone system.

  • Broad surgical versatility
  • Fibrous tissue removal
  • Master of bone

Surgical excellence in neurosurgery requires an exceptional skill set, supported by advanced technology. With the objective of empowering surgical performance, ZEISS introduces TORUS® Ultrasonic Aspirator.

The compact 3-in-1 solution combines soft and fibrous tissue removal, bone cutting and bone rasping in one integrated system for cranial and spinal procedures.

Designed to integrate with ZEISS KINEVO 900 S, TORUS enables selected system parameters to be displayed directly within the surgeon’s field of view.

  • Broad surgical versatility

    With 3-in-1 solution

ZEISS TORUS Ultrasonic Aspirator combines three application modes in one integrated system, supporting a broad range of tissue and bone applications throughout cranial and spinal procedures.

Three dedicated handpieces support the different application modes within one single system:

    • soft and fibrous tissue removal with an angled longitudinal handpiece
    • ultrasonic bone cutting with a straight longitudinal handpiece
    • bone rasping with a pure torsional handpiece.
  • Connectivity with ZEISS KINEVO® 900 S

ZEISS TORUS Ultrasonic Aspirator is designed to integrate with ZEISS KINEVO 900 S, enabling the display and recording of selected TORUS parameters within the surgeon's field of view. Recorded procedural data can then be transferred to ZEISS Surgical Cloud together with image and video content for review, education and case documentation.

Fibrous tissue removal

With longitudinal motion

ZEISS TORUS Ultrasonic Aspirator is equipped with high amplitude for removal of fibrous and soft tissue.

The Tissue Adapt mode offers different levels of tissue removal selectivity while maintaining high amplitude.

Master of bone

With novel pure torsional motion

As a master of bone ZEISS TORUS Ultrasonic Aspirator includes two bone removal modes:

The torsional bone rasp features a proprietary, purely torsional mechanism with focused, one-directional movement, designed to improve instrument control and handling during bone rasping.

The ultrasonic bone knife supports bone cutting and enables you to remove larger areas of bone.
