Description

The main aim is to understand the imaging concept of Axioscan 7 and learn how to operate the system for brightfield and fluorescence scanning including maintenance and tips and tricks. The knowledge transfer is realized mainly by hands-on.

  • Introduction to the hardware
  • Handling of trays and slides, add new filters / reflector modules
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting
  • ZEN slidescan (software): overview (graphical user interface), image naming strategies, introduction to wizard concept, how-to work with profiles, focus concept, adapt profiles to different applications (BF and FL), priority slides, fluorescence shading calibration, ZEN as viewer for images, online help, troubleshooting
