Abstract

In Situ Episode 7: Future Views for In Situ – Extending Experiments down to the Nanometer Scale

While most in situ experiments have been conducted on the micron length scale, for unconventional systems this may not be sufficient to fully resolve the pore/grain structure. In this webinar we will review how ZEISS Xradia Ultra XRM can be used with an integrated loading stage to conduct geomechanics experiments on shale at resolutions down to 50nm.
