The ZEISS Digiscoping Adapter is designed to make smartphone digiscoping as simple, flexible and high-quality as possible. A separate eyepiece adapter allows for a rapid transition from observation to image or video capture – without time-consuming readjustments.

Precise optical alignment ensures razor-sharp photos and videos with natural colors and minimal light interference. Fine adjustment options allow accurate leveling of the horizon and image framing, while the smartphone remains fully usable – even for shots taken without the adapter, completely free of vignetting or black borders.

ZEISS Digiscoping Adapter

  • No, the Smartphone Adapter and the Eyepiece Adapter are sold separately. You acquire the Smartphone Adapter once and only need to buy the specific Eyepiece Adapter for your (new) optics.

  • The Eyepiece Adapter is put on the eyepiece. Then, the thread needs to be fastened, so that the round Eyepiece Adapter clampsthe eyepiece. There is no mandatory orientation of the thread, as the Eyepiece Adapter is round. You can position it on the left, on the right, or on the upside.

  • First, the smartphone adapter holds the smartphone firmly in place. Second, strong magnets keep the smartphone adapter securely attached to the optics. If the adapter or phone should slip or fall, a safety cord prevents the smartphone from hitting the ground. The safety cord is included and can be permanently attached to the smartphone adapter. During use, the cord can be looped around the eyepiece for additional security.
