Webinar March 17, 2026 - 10 AM

Pathology-oriented multiplexing (PathoPlex)

Multiplexed imaging at subcellular resolution

A practical solution to current multiplex imaging challenges

High-plex multiplexed imaging enables deep tissue characterization at protein level, yet many current technologies are difficult to scale or adapt. PathoPlex addresses these limitations with a flexible and scalable imaging workflow. This webinar positions PathoPlex within the current multiplex landscape, explains its implementation, and shows a representative application.

Key learnings

  • Present the core principles of PathoPlex (multiplexed imaging)
  • Practical considerations for implementing PathoPlex with special attention to the CD7 system
  • Discover the biological and pathological insights enabled by PathoPlex

Speaker Maria Schwerk Complex Tissue Analysis Lab of Prof. Puelles at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf and Aarhus University

Maria Schwerk is a 4th year PhD student in the Complex Tissue Analysis Lab of Prof. Puelles at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf and Aarhus University. She studied Molecular Life Sciences at the University of Hamburg, where she developed an interest for the application of her background in biochemistry to advancing biomedical technologies. She is a co-developer and co-author of “PathoPlex” published in Nature (PMID: 40681898) and continues to work on expanding and refining high-plex, multimodal multiplexed imaging methods to bridge basic and translational research.
