ZEISS is presenting its new generation of the V8 riflescope family with four new high-performance models. These all feature a center tube diameter of 30/34 mm, exceptional optical performance, an extra-large eye box, and a particularly fine illuminated dot, thereby offering innovative features for successful hunting.

Our ZEISS V8 riflescopes deliver optics for the highest demands, packaged in an elegant design. That makes the four models ideal companions for any hunting situation.

Björn Pados Product Manager for Hunting at ZEISS

With overview and precision to maximum hunting success

The optical system of the ZEISS V8 riflescopes delivers an outstanding sharpness of detail, even at maximum magnification, and stands out with clear, high-contrast images – also in difficult lighting conditions. “Quickly acquiring and accurately identifying targets, even under harsh conditions, both play a critical role in a successful and ethical hunt,” Pados explained. Thanks to the ZEISS V8’s extra-large eye box, the riflescope offers more room to position the eye and acquire the target quickly. In addition to the optical performance, however, a precise reticle is also crucial. “The ultra-fine illuminated dot provides the decisive advantage with extremely low target coverage,” emphasized Pados.

Whether driven hunt, stalk, or high seat - suitable for every hunting situation

A reduced center tube diameter and an intuitive multifunctional button make the scope both compact and ergonomic. With additional new reticles, the ZEISS V8 riflescopes offer even greater flexibility in the field and can be adapted to specific requirements. In addition to a practical, versatile model (V8 1.8-14x50), models are also available for dynamic hunting situations (V8 1.1-8x24), difficult lighting conditions (V8 2.8-20x56), or long distances (V8 4.8-35x60). “New ways to combine the four basic models with and without quick reticle adjustment, as well as the different reticle options, allow customers to choose the one that’s right for them,” Pados said.

More information and availability

The new ZEISS V8 family thus replaces the previous ZEISS Victory V8 series. The most versatile model in the riflescope family, the V8 1.8-14x50, and the V8 2.8-20x56 model specially designed for high-altitude and twilight use, will already be available from retailers in October 2021. The V8 1.1-8x24, which is particularly suitable for driven hunts, and the V8 4.8-35x6 for long-range hunting will be available in December 2021.
