ZEISS has been present in Brazil since 1913 and today employs approximately 900 people across sales, service, manufacturing and corporate functions. The headquarters in São Paulo supports Industrial Quality Solutions, Medical Technology and Research Microscopy Solutions, while the manufacturing site in Petrópolis serves ZEISS Vision Care. In 2024, Brazil became home to South America’s first ZEISS Quality Excellence Center, located in Campinas, São Paulo. The center provides advanced metrology, industrial microscopy and 3D scanning services, reinforcing ZEISS' commitment to innovation and technical excellence.
