    ZEISS in Italy

    ZEISS has had a presence in Italy since 1948 and employs around 300 staff at the Italian headquarters on the modern La Forgiatura corporate campus in Milan. The Consumer Markets segment also operates here. It employs over 450 colleagues, and sells and markets ophthalmic products and instruments for specialist optical retailers. In addition, hardware and software for 2D X-ray solutions have been developed in Italy for the Industrial Quality Solutions segment since 2021.
