ZEISS is therefore aligning its Industrial Quality & Research (IQR) segment even more closely with its customers’ applications and workflows. The goal is to give customers fast and easy access to the technologies, data and insights they need for their next breakthroughs.

Life Sciences Solutions (LIS)

Life Sciences Solutions focuses entirely on the needs of customers in the life sciences. Its objective is to provide customers with high-performance end-to-end workflows for research, diagnostics and therapy development.

Light microscopy will remain the foundation of the portfolio. By adding software, digital solutions, reagents, assays and other workflow components, ZEISS is progressively building a comprehensive solutions portfolio that supports customers from the initial biological question through to the industrial production of pharmaceuticals and the development of new therapies.

Research & Quality Solutions (RQS)

Research & Quality Solutions helps industrial companies gain precise insights into materials, components and processes and manage them reliably throughout the product lifecycle. To achieve this, ZEISS combines metrology, microscopy, automation and software to create integrated applications spanning research and development through to production.

With this strategic direction, ZEISS is further strengthening its role as a partner for science and industry. Customers benefit from a unique portfolio, global industry and application expertise, and the expertise and innovative capabilities of ZEISS teams worldwide.
