Learning and development

  • The ZEISS Expert Ladder is a technical career path for employees with outstanding expertise. Established in 2005, it enables participants to deepen their expertise, contribute to innovation, and take on technical responsibility without assuming disciplinary leadership responsibilities.

    The ZEISS Expert Ladder comprises five levels and brings together around 1,500 experts worldwide. Participants are nominated based on defined criteria and can progress through the different levels as their expertise and technical responsibilities develop.
