  • Smart Design

    Variable use

    With the ZEISS Smartzoom 5, you have a choice of four smart objectives giving you a magnification range of 10x to 2020x. The built in, segmentable LED ring light ensures complete control and flexibility over your illumination needs.

    The ZEISS Smartzoom 5 objectives are encoded, that should you need to change the objective during your imaging, the software recognises the change and alters the measurement calibration accordingly, and will also return to the correct focus, and x/y position so you can immediately continue your analysis without having to refocus, or relocate your region of interest.

    There are also smart safety features, such as collision detection, meaning that should the objective make contact with the sample, the system automatically detects this and retracts the optical engine to a safe position, protecting both the sample, and the user.

    The built in dampening system reduces low levels of vibration to ensure crisp details are not lost in your images. The optical engine also has optical image stabilization to further enhance imaging capabilities in industrial environments.

    Easy to use

    Orientation is simple with the ZEISS Smartzoom 5’s user interface, supporting a seamless macro to micro workflow.

    With the built in overview camera, the ZEISS Smartzoom 5 can take a single snapshot of the entire stage area, making it fast, and easy to navigate the relevent regions of interest for the microscopic inspection.

    Dedicated, step by step workflows can be recorded and stored to perform the same analysis repeatidly, and reproducibly without in depth microscope knowledge.

    For optimal imaging conditions, the best image function allows, with one click, for you to be presented with a series of images under a variety of lighting, and processing conditions, including HDR, noise filtering, and sharpening to decide on your best image for your application.

    Flexible in use

    With the ZEISS Smartzoom 5's fully encoded and motorized architecture, when the arm is tilted between +/- 45°, the focused region of interest remains in focus, and at the centre of the field of view making essential high magnification, high resolution multi angle viewing easy.
