ZEISS mass automated

Multisensor technology.
One seamless workflow.

Expand the capabilities of ZEISS PRISMO with automated multisensor technology

Modern components often require multiple inspection methods - from high-precision tactile scanning and optical measurements to surface analysis and difficult-to-access features. Traditionally, these complex routines involve additional setup steps, manual sensor changes and process interruptions.

Building on ZEISS mass technology, ZEISS mass automated automatically changes probes and sensors during a programmed CNC run on selected ZEISS PRISMO configurations. By combining tactile, optical and surface technologies in one automated sequence, the system applies the most suitable method to each task - reducing manual intervention, simplifying inspection and helping increase productivity without disrupting the CNC run.

Flexibility built around the application

Increase throughput without compromising accuracy

One uninterrupted CNC workflow

Run complex multisensor inspection routines in one continuous measurement program. ZEISS mass automated automatically performs the required sensor changes during execution, eliminating interruptions and keeping your inspection process running from the first feature to the final result.

The right sensor for every measurement task

Different measurement tasks require different technologies. ZEISS mass automated combines highly accurate tactile scanning, flexible multi-angle measurements, optical inspection and roughness analysis in one system, allowing each characteristic to be measured with the sensor best suited to the application.

Precision without compromise

Automation should never come at the expense of accuracy. Designed for demanding multisensor applications, ZEISS mass automated maintains the precision expected from ZEISS PRISMO, achieving a probing error of 1 μm after automatic probe exchange.

Increase inspection productivity

Reduce manual interaction, eliminate unnecessary setup steps and make better use of valuable machine time. By combining multiple measurement technologies in one automated workflow, ZEISS mass automated can reduce overall inspection time by up to 40%*.

Working with ZEISS mass automated opens up far more possibilities than I originally imagined. It will not only shorten setup times but also fundamentally change the way I program the CMM.
