ZEISS ScanPort – Entry into automated 3D metrology
With ZEISS ScanPort, ZEISS presents an innovative, powerful solution in optical 3D metrology that combines accuracy, flexibility, and ease of use in a compact system. This new semi-automated system is designed for users who require reliable metrology results - without the need for extensive training or complex setups.
Maximum precision through proven light technologies
Quality made simple. Based on established ZEISS technologies, ZEISS ScanPort delivers fast, highly precise 3D data. Paired with the comprehensive ZEISS INSPECT software, even complex inspection processes can be performed with just a few clicks: from CAD comparison and mesh editing to trend analysis - ScanPort delivers reproducible results at the highest level.
Flexible automation for a wide range of applications
The system combines a vertically movable axis, a tiltable mechanism, and a rotation table, enabling true 3-axis automation. This allows for optimal illumination and capturing of parts from different angles. The modular, mobile design makes it ideal for use directly on the shop floor or at various locations. The integrated scanner can be detached if required and used separately - for example, to measure larger parts.
Intuitive operation with ZEISS INSPECT - no prior knowledge needed
A standout feature of ZEISS ScanPort is its easy operation with ZEISS INSPECT. Features, such as kiosk mode, workflow assistants, and preconfigured scanning templates guide even inexperienced users smoothly through the measurement process. Operation is standardized - an accurate measurement can be started with just one click. This not only reduces training time but also minimizes potential errors.
Reproducible results for series-ready quality assurance
The integrated motion replay function ensures that previously performed scans can be precisely repeated. For recurring parts, this enables a series-ready inspection strategy with consistent evaluation. Deviations between individual parts are automatically detected and visualized, allowing trends in production to be identified and corrected at an early stage.
Versatile applications - from manufacturing to digital twin
ZEISS ScanPort is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, such as 3D printing, reverse engineering, casting and plastics, toolmaking, as well as the creation of virtual models and digital twins. The simple one-shot calibration with a DAkkS/ILAC- calibrated length standard guarantees continued measurement accuracy - even in mobile use.
