The ZEISS INNOVATION SUMMIT will take place in Berlin from November 4 - 6, 2026. At this event, ZEISS will bring together international executives, decision-makers, scientists, and technology experts from around the world to exchange views on trends in metrology, research, and data analysis and translate them into tangible advances in industry and science.

Under the headline “Turning Insights into Impact,” the event is aimed at leaders in industry and research, and addresses key topics like computing and AI, electrification, automation and the digital transformation in production and life sciences. The international conference program comprises more than 80 international speakers. Spanning 6,000 square meters, the technology exhibition will feature more than 90 installations. Interdisciplinary networking formats will provide the platform to connect strategic trends with practical applications.

  • A large stage with multiple screens is set in the center of an arena, surrounded by an audience. The word 'FUTURE' is displayed in large letters on the stage. The scene is illuminated with blue lighting. People in suits, apparently speaking, are visible on the screens. The seating areas are filled, and the arena ceiling features a pattern of lines and light sources.

The opening event at Velodrom Berlin on November 4 launches two days of inspiration, innovation, and connection.

  • A large exhibition hall with tall windows and exposed concrete ceilings is filled with many people. Various booths featuring digital screens, information signs, and technical equipment are spread throughout the space. Visitors move between the booths, with some standing in groups and talking. In the foreground, modern display objects and an information point are visible. The atmosphere is busy and technology-focused.

The technology exhibition at STATION Berlin presents solutions in automation, electrification, and life sciences across more than 6,000 square meters.

  • Large conference hall with wood paneling and orange ceiling panels. Many people are seated in rows of chairs, some on red and orange armchairs, all facing a large presentation screen at the front of the room. The screen displays several slides with text and images. Daylight enters through tall windows on the left side. The backs of attendees are visible in the foreground, and a person stands on stage in the background.

Industry and research leaders explore how computing, AI, and digital transformation turn insights into impact.

From technological possibilities to measurable results

Megatrends such as artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and digitalization are driving technological changes in industry and research. While industrial advances are triggering new requirements for efficiency, precision, and process reliability, digital technologies in life sciences are opening new opportunities to better understand biological processes, accelerate research workflows, and generate new data-driven insights. The key is to translate technological potential into practical applications and measurable results. Precise measurement and analytical data provide the foundation: they enable automated workflows, support AI-assisted analysis, and create transparency for informed decision-making. Powerful measurement and analytical solutions are therefore becoming a key enabler of innovation in industry, research, and life sciences.

The ZEISS INNOVATION SUMMIT brings these developments to life through concrete technologies and application scenarios. At the accompanying expo, participants will gain insights into the ZEISS solutions and learn how the interplay of measurement and analytical systems, connected software, and intelligent applications create improvement opportunities for industrial processes and life sciences research. The focus is on practical solutions that address current technological challenges with a quick return on investment and highlight prospects for future applications.

“Industry and life sciences face different challenges, but the demands for precision, reliability, and technological performance are increasing in both areas. The ZEISS INNOVATION SUMMIT offers a platform for representatives from both areas to exchange ideas about specific challenges, new demands in manufacturing and research, and the efficient use of technological solutions,” says Dr. Marc Wawerla, Member of the Executive Board of the ZEISS Group and Head of the ZEISS Industrial Quality & Research segment.

Cross-industry exchange on key topics shaping the future

Featuring more than 80 international speakers from leading companies and research institutions, the ZEISS INNOVATION SUMMIT 2026 offers a high-caliber conference program on the defining technology trends of our time. Representatives from companies including NVIDIA, Siemens, Bosch, and MTU Aero Engines will examine the opportunities and challenges of technological change from a range of industry perspectives. The focus will be on forward-looking topics such as artificial intelligence, autonomous production, electrification, and the use of AI in production facilities and research laboratories. The program combines strategic perspectives with insights into current developments and creates space for exchange among executives, technology experts, and scientists.

“The ZEISS INNOVATION SUMMIT brings together leaders from industry and research from around the world to exchange perspectives on megatrends, experience innovation firsthand, and build meaningful international connections. We want to foster dialogue across industries and create new momentum for shaping the future of industry and science,” explains Wawerla.
