ZEISS announces the 15th anniversary of the ZEISS VISION CENTER concept, a pioneering initiative launched in Germany at first, that has grown exponentially since its inception, and now boasts around 400 centers worldwide.

ZEISS VISION CENTER Chemnitz, Germany, the first of its kind opened 15 years ago.

Benefitting from the reputation and the ZEISS brand awareness, ZEISS VISION CENTER are run by partnering independent eye care professionals. This partnership concept puts the consumer and their needs at the centre and offers a well-designed consumer journey from the very first touchpoint to handing over a premium pair of glasses and even beyond – all in a clear, modern yet timeless shop design. Each center is designed by ZEISS’ architects and adapted to local market and cultural needs. The ZEISS VISION CENTER was created with the primary goal of empowering eye care professionals (ECPs) and enhancing the overall consumer experience. They accommodate all the relevant aspects of a premium shopping experience, from the store concept to cutting-edge ZEISS workflows, instruments and systems as well as the latest frame trends, innovative and customized ZEISS precision lenses, through to a systematic consultation process. With this concept ZEISS has enabled its partners to deliver exceptional vision care while reinforcing the strength of the ZEISS brand.

A global concept active in more than 45 countries

To date, around 400 ZEISS VISION CENTERS in almost 50 countries, including India, UAE, Canada, China, Taiwan, USA, South Africa, Australia, Brazil, Colombia and Germany invite visitors to experience how their individual visual needs can be translated into customized, high-quality lenses by ZEISS. The country with the most ZEISS VISION CENTERS is Brazil where nearly 200 stores are operational today.

The largest ZEISS VISION CENTER, spanning an impressive 480 square meters, is located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This flagship store exemplifies the commitment of ZEISS to providing cutting-edge technology and an optimal consumer experience in a setting that reflects the region it is located in.

The growth of the ZEISS VISION CENTER concept has been particularly pronounced in India, where demand for premium vision care continues to rise. In 2022 India had three stores operating, today over 20 are operational and there are more than 20 projects in the realization phase.

The success of the ZEISS VISION CENTER concept is not merely a reflection of the brand's strength but also a testament to the dedication of its partners.
