ZEISS MICURA is the solution for new requirements in industrial production, where components are becoming ever more compact and there are increasing demands for accuracy.

Compact and highly precise

Equipped with the high-end VAST XT gold or VAST XTR gold probe from ZEISS and navigator technology, ZEISS MICURA offers active scanning with a measuring accuracy of less than one micrometer. ZEISS MICURA demonstrates its strengths particularly with small complicated components with tight tolerances, such as those used in optics, medical technology or electronics. Despite its compact dimensions, the coordinate measuring machine achieves a measuring volume of 500 x 700 x 600 mm – significantly more than comparable machines.

Precise high-speed scanning

The VAST XT gold and VAST XTR gold probes from ZEISS enable high-speed scanning with up to 500 measuring points per second. In addition to geometric parameters, shape and position parameters such as roundness or flatness can also be precisely measured in a short space of time. The VAST XT gold probe can be equipped with particularly small test spheres. The smallest probe has a diameter of just 0.3 mm.

Automatic measuring speed

ZEISS MICURA is equipped with VAST navigator technology as standard. It automatically sets the optimum measuring speed with guaranteed accuracy – and thus significantly shortens the measuring time. ZEISS MICURA moves a little slower in places with high precision requirements. The coordinate measuring machine moves faster if the contours are simpler or are measured with fewer requirements.

Navigator technology saves even more time thanks to tangential approach and scanning, helix scanning and fast dynamic stylus qualification.

More flexibility with ZEISS rotary table

The flexible ZEISS RT-RB-100-1 rotary table can be installed in the measuring area as a setup variant as required and then conveniently moved out of the measuring area again. This option enables measurement in four axes – on just one machine.
